학과소개

실용예술학과는 다양한 실용예술 분야에 우수한 전문가를 양성하는 것을 목표로 한다.
뮤지컬 분야는 뮤지컬 배우에게 필요한 가창 능력을 계발하고 안무, 연기 수업을 통해 연기자로서의 역량을 배양하여 좋은 뮤지컬 배우가 되는 것을 목표로 한다.
실용예술 전공은 가요, 팝 음악 이나 음악극(뮤지컬), CCM 등의 공연음악 또는 감상용 대중음악과 영상, 방송, 광고, 영화, 무용, 예배 음악 등의 배경음악과 소리 효과 등을 제작하며 작곡하고 기획하며 연주 또는 연출하는, 그리고 또한 학문적으로 연구하는 것을 목표로 한다.
뮤지컬 공연에 필요한 전문가 양성과 음악 공연을 위한 배우나 연주자 등 퍼포먼스 전문가 그리고 다양한 음원을 제작하는 작곡가 및 제작자, 그리고 뮤지컬 공연과 음악 공연을 기획, 제작, 연출하는 전문가를 양성하는 것을 목표로 한다. 제작과 기획이나 연출을 공부하는 학생은 다양한 이론과 실제 제작 경험을 통해 실전에 투입될 수 있는 또는 직접 제작할 능력을 갖추는 인재로 양성되며 연기 또는 연주 및 작, 편곡을 공부하는 학생은 현대음악의 다양한 이론과 기술을 실기를 통해 습득하고 경험을 쌓을 수 있는 실습과 다른 전공과의 커뮤니티 형성 및 폭넓은 교과 과정을 통해 창작과 연주 뿐 아니라 녹음과 유통, 마케팅까지도 가능한 인재와 음악 지도자로 양성되게 된다.

The Department of Practical Arts aims to nurture excellent experts in various practical arts fields.
The musical field aims to become a good musical actor by developing the singing ability necessary for musical actors and cultivating their capabilities as an actor through choreography and acting classes.
The Practical Arts major produces, composes, and plans performance music such as pop music, music drama (musical), CCM, and other popular music for appreciation, as well as background music and sound effects for video, broadcasting, advertisement, film, dance, worship music, etc. It aims to perform or direct, and also to study academically.
It aims to nurture experts necessary for musical performances, performance experts such as actors and performers for music performances, composers and producers who produce various sound sources, and professionals who plan, produce, and direct musical performances and music performances. Students who study production, planning, or directing are nurtured as talents who can be put into practice or have the ability to produce on their own through various theories and practical production experiences. Through practical training that allows students to acquire theory and technology through practical training and experience, community formation with other majors, and a wide curriculum, they will be nurtured as talents and music leaders capable of not only creating and performing, but also recording, distribution, and marketing.
